This week we have a few unremarkable FPSs but we also have some cute rhythm action for the PSP.
Patapon (PSP) – Pick of the Week
Patapon is exactly the type of game the PSP needs. A fun, easy game to play that can be done in small chunks. At $20, this is a steal and should do well critically although the odd title and gameplay may not translate into sales figures.
Frontlines: Fuel of War (Xbox 360, PC)
The demos on XBL have shown that this game is a solid shooter but offers nothing new to the table, unless you count the 50 player multiplayer action. Try the demos.
Turning Point: Fall of Liberty (Xbox 360, PS3, PC)
Even more unremarkable than Frontlines, Turning Point is a shooter in an alternate reality where the Nazis have made their way to American shores. Probably not worth your time.
LOST: Via Domus (Xbox 360, PS3, PC)
The inevitable video game extension of the hit ABC series. This game has generated zero buzz and if it’s as infuriating as the series can be at times then you might as well burn $60, punch a concrete wall and call it a day.
What games, if any, are you picking up this week?

Frontlines: Fuel of War…. This game is quite good on the mulitplayer demo and should be even better come release.
Patapon is a lock.
I think I’m going to bite the bullet and buy Call of Duty 4 for the PC. I know I know PC who cares, but you just can’t beat the control of a mouse.
And you know this.
